Stay in seclusion while remaining close to everything that makes Järvsö worth visiting. The house sits at the edge of the forest above the lake, with large windows facing the water and the ski slopes across the valley.

Winter brings skiing, sauna and fireside evenings. Summer means hiking, cycling, swimming and long, quiet days on the terrace.

01The accommodation

The house

An architect-designed house of approximately 50 sqm plus loft, built in 2022 for up to six guests. Open-plan living, high ceilings, large windows framing the view and a fireplace for colder evenings.

Beds: Three bedrooms: one with a 160 cm double bed, one with a bunk bed (2 × 90 cm) and a loft bedroom with two 120 cm beds. The loft has a standing height of 200 cm.

02Sauna & lake

Sauna, lake and private jetty

The wood-fired sauna is right beside the house. Below, the private jetty awaits, with a rowing boat and SUP boards in summer.

In winter, the ski slopes, fireplace and sauna set the pace.

Skiing just around the corner

The ski slopes of Järvsö are only a few minutes away by car and can be seen from the house. In winter 2026/27, the ski area offers 25 runs. Cross-country trails are also available when snow conditions permit.

Cycling, swimming and forest

Järvsö is one of Sweden’s leading cycling destinations. Between rides, the lake, jetty and long summer evenings await.

Close to the village, surrounded by nature

Järvsö centre is around five minutes away by car, with restaurants, cafés and shops. Järvsö is approximately three hours from Stockholm by direct train. Back at the house, the forest, lake and quiet take over.
